Meet our Optometrist
Dr. Sohajdeep Sidhu was raised in Brampton, Ontario, and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with Dean’s Honours from the University of Waterloo. Upon graduation, she was recognized with the Ontario Association of Optometrists Award for Excellence in Patient Management – an honour awarded to a graduate who demonstrates exceptional clinical care and a strong commitment to patient-centred practice. She also holds a Bachelor of Optometry degree, awarded with First Class Honours, from Anglia Ruskin University in England.
Dr. Sidhu received extensive clinical training in a variety of clinical settings, where she managed a wide range of eye conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye disease. She provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, including routine eye exams, emergency eye care, pre- and post-operative management, and treatment of various ocular diseases. She has a special interest in myopia control for children and is passionate about early intervention to preserve long-term eye health.
Fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, Dr. Sidhu places a strong emphasis on patient education, believing that informed patients are better equipped to make decisions about their eye health. She strives to build strong, trusting relationships by ensuring her patients feel comfortable, heard, and fully understood throughout their care.
Dr. Sidhu is a proud member of Ontario College of Optometrists, Ontario Association of Optometrists and Canadian Association of Optometrists.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Sidhu enjoys traveling, swimming, trying new restaurants and cuisines, discovering new hiking trails, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
